Date into shelter: 10/30/2007 then brought in as stray and surrendered by owner back to WAHS in February 2013
Circumstances of dog coming to shelter: Banjo was found in Washington as a stray, the owner was contacted and they no longer wanted him, so they surrendered him to WAHS
Condition of animal when it came in, if significant: Banjo is a big boy! Partially due to lack of nutrition and partially due to a thyroid condition
Current condition or positive changes: He is on a strict diet to help with his thyroid and weight.
Medications: he is being treated for a thyroid condition.
Special qualities and/or tricks: Banjo is as easy going as they come. He has not a care in the world and moves about at a slow, enjoyable pace.

This is Banjo, a 6 year old male Beagle. Banjo is a lumbering lad who loves to lounge around. He is very easy going so he’d do great in an apartment, or any home that is as laid back as him!
