Circumstances of dog coming to shelter: Missy was surrendered to our Humane Officer by her owners because they were not properly caring for her.
   
Condition of animal when it came in, if significant: Missy was infested with fleas and severely emaciated.  She has hair loss on her back side and parts of her face

Current condition or positive changes:  Missy’s hair continues to grow back and she has put on lots of healthy weight!

Special qualities and/or tricks:  Missy is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet.  Her spirits are always high and she is a joy to be around.

Additional info radio audience should know: This is Missy, a 5 year old Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix. Missy is a sweet dog who loves to shower everyone she meets with kisses. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would fit perfectly into a multi-dog home!
