Circumstances of dog coming to shelter: Gabby was brought to the shelter as a stray
Condition of animal when it came in, if significant: Gabby had some hair loss on her back and had cherry eye in each eye. Cherry eye is a congenital eye defect where the gland of a dog’s third eyelid slips out of place and becomes visible.
Current condition or positive changes: Gabby has had both cherry eyes removed, but will now require eye drops daily. She has kept her kind and loving nature throughout her time here at the shelter.
Medications: Yes - eye drops
Special qualities and/or tricks: Gabby is a snuggler. If you sit down, you can guarantee she’ll be right on your lap. She is also a chatty girl, who will start to talk to you if you scratch her in the right place.
