Roscoe is Dog Of The Week.  October 27 is Pit Bull awareness day, so we wanted to send one of our Pitties to represent!  We have some wonderful Pit Bulls at the shelter, and wish we could send them all to the show, but Roscoe has been here awhile and deserves a great home!

If you want to read more on Pitt Bull Awareness Day here is the official website: http://www.nationalpitbullawarenessday.org/

Circumstances of dog coming to shelter: Roscoe was brought to the shelter because his owner had heath issues and could no longer provide him with the care that he needs.

Condition of animal when it came in, if significant: Pulled a lot on walks and was not very obedient.

Current condition or positive changes: Roscoe is now one of the easiest dogs to walk. He enjoys being out and about with our volunteers and is now very obedient.

Independent in spirit but still loves to be pet and given affection.

Roscoe is a wonderful dog who exemplifies some of the best Pitbull qualities. His willingness to please and calm demeanor would match well with a single dog home.
