Their daily catfights on ESPN's "First Take" can get tiresome.
But STEPHEN A. SMITH and SKIP BAYLESS have Todd Haley's tenuous situation as the Steelers' offensive coordinator TOTALLY FIGURED.
Stephen A. highlights:
*No one is raving about playing for Haley. No one is enthused about playing for Haley.
*The Steelers rank 26th in passing, 31st in rushing. There is obviously a problem.
*WR Antonio Brown doesn't feel not getting the ball is QB Ben Roethlisberger's fault. Brown went to Haley, not Ben. So Brown feels the issue is schematic.
*Stephen A. saw these problems coming the minute Haley got hired.
*Players have had difficulty with Haley everywhere he's been. This is no surprise.
*Haley has a good football IQ, but has trouble relating to today's players. No besides manner. No rapport.
*The Steelers are not built for what Haley has been mandated to do.
*A major change is required, namely: LET BEN FIGURE IT OUT.
