Beano Cook always did like a home 'dog.
The Steelers are 2-3. The "easy part" of their schedule is over. If you lose to Oakland and Tennessee, you're just not a very good team. You won't get those wins back.
Last night was a DISASTER. Sure, the injuries hurt.
But I keep getting told "the standard is the standard." Why wouldn't I believe it?
When Tennessee got the ball with a short field late, you knew the game was OVER. The Steelers' defense is THAT BAD in the fourth quarter.
The Steelers should have punted. Shaun Suisham trying to kick a career-long 54-yard field goal=MISTAKE. Crap decision by Mike Tomlin. Tennessee got a 56-yard field and a favorable clock. The Steelers had ZERO CHANCE to get the ball back. The defense SUCKED.
Why was the team's best pass-rusher (James Harrison) in single coverage on a tight end? Shouldn't Harrison be up Matt Hasselbeck's tuchus?
2-3. TWO AND FRIGGIN' THREE. 0-3 on the road. My preseason prediction of 8-8 seems wildly optimistic.
Ben Roethlisberger got the Steelers' all-time passing record. Very small consolation. I go back and forth on Todd Haley's offense. Too much dink and dunk. Too many touch passes. LET BEN GUN IT. The 82-yard touchdown to Wallace was the last deep ball Ben threw.
The playbook protects Ben. But the Steelers need more points faster, especially with the defense in the tank.
Too much Twitter. Too many radio shows. Too many newspaper columns. WWMJGD? WHAT WOULD MEAN JOE GREENE DO? #focus
