Touche. Winston is absolutely right.

But it's just a side effect of society making football too important.

Not gladiators? Not the Roman Colosseum? That's incorrect. You are, and it is. Right or wrong, that's the gravitas we've visited upon the NFL.

That does NOT excuse the KC fans. But get the story right. Define the context.

As usual, Steelers fans topped that. Three Rivers Stadium cheered when Terry Bradshaw got hurt, and he won four Super Bowls. Who'd Matt Cassel ever beat?
