Foo Fighters kicked off their 2024 tour on Wednesday (May 1) in Dallas, Texas with a rousing 24-song, two-hour-and-45-minute-long set. Dave Grohl and company played the hits, as well as songs off their latest album But Here We Are, and dedicated "My Hero" to Pantera's late guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

“This one’s for everybody," Grohl said while introducing the song. "Actually, you know what, since we’re here in Dallas, I’m gonna dedicate this one to an old friend. He lived around here. His name is Dimebag Darrell. How ’bout that? We’ll sing it for Darrell.”

The Foos also dedicated "Aurora" to their late drummer Taylor Hawkins. The 1999 track was his favorite in the band's discography.

Foo Fighters are slated to play the New Orleans Jazz Festival on Friday (May 3) and have a handful of other US dates before hopping the pond to the UK and Europe. They return stateside this summer for a massive stadium tour. See fan-shot footage from the show, as well as the full setlist, below.
